    Matt Jacobs | Managing Director
    In January 2018, Ashley and Derek handed over the reins to joint Managing Directors Pat Barton and Matt Jacobs, who have both enjoyed a long history with the company. Pat started his career with Jacobs Steel over 23 years ago, working his way up to a senior management position before leaving to gain experience in the corporate world. 

    For Matt, Ashley's son, Jacobs Steel has always been a part of his life. Following in his Dad's footsteps, Matt joined the company as a teenager when he started as a Saturday Assistant. Later in his career, he moved to Foxtons in London before relocating to Sydney, Australia, to run a sales business. In 2017 he returned to the UK to take over from his Father.

    Pat Barton | Managing Director
    Pat entered the world of estate agency in the mid nineties, working his way up the ranks in Jacobs Steel from Trainee to Branch Manager. After leaving in 2000 to work in the corporate world for 5 years, Pat returned to successfully manage the West Worthing office and became a Director in 2012, only to then step up once more to Joint Managing Director in 2018.
