I have to be honest I usually detest high street estate agents. I usually find them pushy, untruthful and unhelpful. The last two houses I have sold with an internet company. I was dealing with Archer & Co for a purchase and I was so impressed with them from the outset. There were many times that the purchase became (for one reason or another that I won't go into now) very challenging - but Patrick and Jane were always there to help and smooth things out. They were extremely professional but yet also caring, which in my experience is rare for an estate agent (sorry!!). I could really see the value of having a high St estate agent, because with an online one as soon as you sell or buy you are passed on to another department. But Jane and Patrick were on the end of the phone and it was so reassuring. I wouldn't hesitate using them if we ever sell, even if it's a bit more money than an online agent, it's worth every penny when you get a challenging sale!!
