Waltham Abbey is located in the county of Essex 15 miles north east of Central London between the River Lea and Hertfordshire to the East and the sprawling Epping Forest to the west. It takes its name

from the Abbey church of Waltham Holy Cross, an ancient monument lasting from the town's early history. The area has a dynamic local economy and housing market.
