A great service. They removed a lot of the hassle that is associated with property management, allowing me to let my property with minimal hassle. They have a proactive a efficient approach that ensured the smooth running of the property. Having had a bad experience with a letting agent before, I was wary of property letting however my faith has now been restored. I would thoroughly recommend.

Mark Crampton Smith owns and runs College and County with a very keen eye. I have been a landlord for 15 years and in Oxford for 5 years. I struggled to let my two houses this year and with all this deposit and HMO legislation i decided to give them a go as i had heard they had just won an award. They have found me two great sets of tenants and very happy with my experience. My other local agent had taken 5months to get NO tenants. Results speak louder than anything else.

Your Facebook maintenance reporting is Great! They have always been really good at sorting out problems we have had in our house over the past two years. A few months ago we opted to use Facebook to report our maintenance and we have all been so impressed! They get back to us almost instantly and its so much easier than using email as we can all get updates to our phones. Very impressed leaps and bounds better than my agent in first year.

As a tenant, I've been really impressed with College and County: my husband and I just moved into a new property and the service has been professional and quick. I especially appreciated the clear explanation of costs and process (this is often where other agencies go so wrong). They've been friendly and fair - essential skills for a housing agency - and there's been answers for every question I sent through. So far, so great! I'm really happy we've switched into a property with C&C. UPDATE: Feb 8, 2013. It's been one year since moving into our property. First, I must say, I love my new home. Things have been really smooth since we moved in. A few issues with our heating/gas were fixed with speed and the service was of high quality. There were a few minor issues where engineers were sent to the house without previous notice, but all-in-all, I'm still quite happy with C&C and the support they've provided.

Last night our boiler broke down. The office was shut but I phoned on the off chance someone would pick up. Luckily College and County have an out of hours service for any issues that arise. Within half an hour our boiler had been fixed and the heating was back on. Considering it was -5 outside we were very appreciative of the speed and efficiency from Lily and the team.

Having spent three years living in a College and County property I can honestly say that I am somewhat sad to have left. Many happy memories from my time there will be with me for the rest of my life. Perhaps the most important quality Displayed by College and County that has helped me and my family leave with such a positive experience in mind is their friendly and helpful approach to doing business with you, the tenant. Their personal approach to the tenant-agency relationship makes them a joy to interact with and I would not hesitate in recommending them as an agent for anyone looking to rent a property in the Oxford area, I would certainly go back to them should a move back to Oxford be on the cards for us. They operate in a professional yet friendly manner and having rented from a few agents in the Oxford area previously I can certainly say that College and County stand out above the rest. In the lettings business, community relations are an important factor, and College and County get high ratings on this - their signboards are removed pretty much as soon as the let has been agreed, unlike other agents who regularly leave LET boards up way beyond the two week authorised limit, and properties always look well kept from the outside, without rubbish being allowed to build up in front gardens etc. Keep up the good work!
