I’m not sure why your solicitor is waiting for a pack before applying for searches. This is unacceptable and delaying things unnecessarily. The searches can take 3/4 weeks to come back so they should at least apply for them, so that when the management pack is in they can raise the necessary enquiries otherwise we’ll be another month behind schedule and the vendor will not accept this. As you know he is keeping the property vacant for a quick sale.
Please can you instruct them to apply for the searches, as you are their client and they need to follow your instructions.
Meanwhile I will chase the m/pack.
