Nearby Castle Cary provides further amenities, including a deli, grocery store, a seafood restaurant, cafes, pubs, and an independent wine shop.

The area is well served by excellent dining options. Bruton, just 20 minutes away, is home to renowned establishments such as Osip, At the Chapel, and The Roth Bar at Hauser & Wirth. The Newt in Somerset offers a farm shop, fine dining, and horticultural events.
