Rudge lies within close proximity to Frome and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village  has the benefit of The Full Moon public house, which has guest rooms, a restaurant and a bar. Westbury is 2.5 miles away with a mainline station to Bath, Bristol and London Paddington.  Frome is a short drive away from the village and offers many independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Frome has a wealth of activities, schools and a railway station with rail links to Bath, Bristol and beyond.
