Tucked peacefully into the far corner of a well-kept development, this charm-filled ground floor apartment offers a rare blend of design-led interiors, smart upgrades, and unbeatable local culture — just moments from the buzz of Blackhorse Road.

Step inside to find a space that’s been beautifully renovated throughout, with real wood flooring running across the open-plan living and kitchen area. The bespoke fitted kitchen is sleek, modern and highly functional, tailored to complement the airy layout and ideal for both home cooking and entertaining.

The master bedroom is an impressively generous space, featuring handmade bespoke wardrobes — a standout feature crafted with quality and care. The second bedroom is perfect as a home office or single room, offering flexibility to match your lifestyle.

The stylish bathroom includes a full-sized bath with an overhead shower, wall-mounted basin unit, and timeless half-height wood panelling, continuing the attention to detail seen throughout.

Recent upgrades include brand new double glazing, a new hot water tank, eco-friendly high-end radiators, and a full rewire — all adding to the home’s efficiency and long-term value. There’s also hallway storage and a utility cupboard, adding practicality to its considered design.

The flat is south and south-easterly facing, meaning it is bathed in natural light throughout the day, and offers direct access to a tranquil communal garden. Despite being just moments from Walthamstow’s thriving creative scene, it remains exceptionally quiet — with no road noise, making it a true hidden retreat.

Located just a short stroll from Walthamstow Central and Blackhorse Road stations, you're effortlessly connected to the Victoria Line and London Overground, making commutes into the City and West End a breeze. Local bus routes are plentiful, and the nearby cycle paths make green travel an easy choice.

Walthamstow is a vibrant, ever-evolving neighbourhood that perfectly blends culture, creativity, and community. From the charming streets of Walthamstow Village to the artistic energy of God’s Own Junkyard, the area offers something for everyone. Just around the corner, you’ll find the artisan breweries of the Blackhorse Beer Mile, the hands-on creativity of the Blackhorse Workshop, and a host of beloved local coffee spots. Enjoy scenic walks through Lloyd Park and Epping Forest, browse the stalls of Walthamstow Market — the longest outdoor market in Europe — or explore the area’s many independent shops, bakeries, and boutiques.

This flat was even recently featured in a design magazine — and it’s easy to see why. With its seamless mix of peace, personality and location, this is a one-of-a-kind Walthamstow home ready for its next chapter.

A word from our owner.

"We’ve never lived anywhere in London as quiet as this - no more ear plugs at night! It’s our haven in what is such a buzzy, lively area of Walthamstow. We love our easy walks to the breweries and the Black Horse workshop and having Lloyd Park and the Marshes so nearby for dog walks. We have friendly, helpful neighbours and enjoy sitting outside with an evening drink in our corner of the garden. We’re so proud of our home and hope its next owner gets as much joy from it as we have."

About haart, Walthamstow

143-145 Hoe Street, London, E17 3AL
Industry affiliations:
haart Walthamstow

Walthamstow is 12 miles north east of central London. From here a range of stations will get you quickly into the West End or through to Liverpool Street if you work in the City. The M11 and M25 are easily accessible too.

Walthamstow Village has long been popular thanks to its ancient church, almshouses and pretty cottages. It also has some lovely independent shops and cafes and characterful Edwardian and Victorian homes. The rest of the area was badly bombed during WWII, so properties are more modern, but the whole of Walthamstow is now in demand for its affordability and sense of cool.

First time buyers as well as families are flocking here, many upsizing from nearby Shoreditch and Hackney, and drawn here by the good primary and secondary schools.

The haart Walthamstow office is open Monday to Saturday. Come and see us at 134-145 Hoe Street.
