Set back from the road having a paved driveway, the property has great curb appeal. Stepping inside, you're welcomed by a grand entrance hall with high ceilings, ornate coving, original Milton tiling and deep skirting boards, and period fireplaces are just a few of the delightful features that flow throughout the house.
The lounge situated to the front of the property is a beautifully proportioned space with a large bay window, intricate ceiling rose, and a fully functioning fireplace—creating the perfect setting to relax or entertain. To the rear, the dining room presents an inviting and spacious area, perfect for family meals or entertaining guests. Enhanced by high ceilings and a large window that floods the space with natural light, the room exudes a bright, airy atmosphere. The kitchen is well-appointed with a mix of traditional wall and base units and modern conveniences, to the rear is space for a dining table and chairs making a great open plan space with French doors leading you to the courtyard. This property also benefits from a basement which has been previously used as a laundry room.
On the first floor, the generous split level landing leads three spacious bedrooms, each boasting tall windows, elegant décor, and original fireplaces, a study and the family bathroom. The family bathroom is on this level and is finished with a traditional white four-piece suite and tasteful black and white tiling.
The top floor offers incredible flexibility, currently arranged as a large principal bedroom and en-suite. With exposed beams, and excellent ceiling height, the third floor feels every bit as impressive as the rest of the home. The en-suite is fitted with a walk-in shower, wash basin and wc with a velux window flooding the space with natural light.
Externally, the property sits back from the road allowing space to park. To the rear the property enjoys a lovely sun trap of a courtyard, ideal for a low maintenance garden. Whether you're hosting summer gatherings or simply relaxing outdoors, the space is both practical and peaceful. Behind the rear wall is an extra space belonging to the property currently utilised as a vegetable patch and accessed via a walkway to the front of the property.

The Seller's View!
We have enjoyed living in this house for over 13 years and we would not choose to leave if it was not for personal circumstances. The neighbours have been wonderful, they are always friendly, sociable and will offer help if needed. We have found this to be a perfect location with easy access to Liverpool via the nearby Bache train station, and an easy walk into Chester either along the street or by the canal towpath. It is a place we are very sorry to leave.
