LOCATION
Raleigh Manor enjoys a truly enviable position, proudly situated at the end of a long tree lined drive and commanding some of the most breathtaking views in all of Exmoor. Enjoying an elevated position, it offers a remarkable sense of seclusion enhanced by mature trees and well tended gardens. To the northwest, Dunkery Beacon - one of Exmoor’s highest points offers a network of scenic footpaths and bridleways,
perfect for walking and riding while taking in the panoramic landscapes.
Wheddon Cross provides essential day-to-day amenities and serves as a central hub for travel across the region. It lies at a key crossroads, offering convenient access to Minehead,
Taunton, Tiverton, and Exford. Minehead is the closest town for comprehensive shopping and services, while Taunton, the county town of Somerset, offers a wider range of retail,

College, and Queen’s College.
This part of Somerset is increasingly sought after, thanks to its excellent transport links. Taunton railway station provides direct services to London Paddington, with journey times as
short as 1 hour and 43 minutes on the fast train. Tiverton, just 21 miles away, is also home to the highly regarded Blundell’s School, making the area particularly attractive to families seeking quality education within reach of the countryside.
