Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at Author King's Cross has been a fantastic experience. The area strikes the perfect balance between vibrant city life and a sense of community that's rare to find in central London. The development itself is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, offering a peaceful retreat just moments away from the buzz of King's Cross and St Pancras. One of the standout features of living here is the quality and variety of local amenities. Granary Square, Coal Drops Yard, and the surrounding streets are packed with independent shops, stylish boutiques, and artisan markets that give the area a truly unique character. Whether you're looking for high-end fashion, home goods, or niche bookstores, you'll find it all just a short walk away. Food lovers will be in heaven here. From laid-back brunch spots and cosy cafes to some of London’s best restaurants, there’s no shortage of choice. Highlights include Dishoom, Caravan, and Lina Stores – and the variety spans everything from Italian and Indian to modern British cuisine. The bar scene is just as strong, with welcoming pubs, sleek cocktail lounges, and rooftop venues. What also makes the neighbourhood special is how walkable and well-connected it is. The Regent’s Canal path, nearby parks like Camley Street Natural Park, and cultural institutions like the British Library and King’s Place add depth to the lifestyle here. Whether you're into the arts, fitness, or simply relaxing by the water, there's always something to do. Overall, Author King's Cross offers not just a place to live, but a lifestyle that blends convenience, culture, and comfort in one of London's most exciting districts. Highly recommended.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management at Author King's Cross has been excellent in responding to any issues. The staff is always ready to help and extremely quick with replies. The concierge team, especially Anthony and Nelson, have been incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly every time assistance is needed. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure residents feel supported and valued.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A tip for new neighbours: take full advantage of the communal spaces, especially the lounge. They're ideal for working, hosting guests, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a view.
