We were really impressed with the size, practicality and quality of this property and are sure that the time and thought put into extending the property by the current vendors will be appreciated by the lucky buyer.

It will make an excellent choice for an extended family with one bedroom and en-suite being sited on the ground floor.
The main accommodation is at the rear of the house maximizing the great views over the large tree lined garden.
There is also a lounge with cozy log burner and additional snug/den for the kids.
The garden has a large Indian sandstone patio ideal for entertaining with the bi fold doors opening from the family room and kitchen ideal for al-fresco dining.

Situation

What attracted you to the property when you brought it?
o When we first viewed the house, we were impressed by the large woodland garden and how the house is set against a natural backdrop; both give the feeling of living in a secluded rural setting
o The choice of local schools’, proximity to Southborough with all the essential amenities and High Brooms station being a short walk away with direct links into the city
What improvements have you made to the house?
o The house was originally 3 bedrooms and had the potential to grow alongside our family
o After living in the house for two years prior to making any large alterations we started a double-storey extension adding two bedrooms with en-suites, a home office, a kids loft den, a utility room and a large open plan kitchen/ diner/ living area with UFH and bifold doors providing lovely views of the garden and woodland
o We wanted to keep the front room a cosy space so installed a log burning stove giving the house a balance between traditional and open plan living
What have you enjoyed about living there?
o We have enjoyed living on Brian Crescent for so many reasons but what stands out is how friendly and sociable the neighbours are
o Many a social event takes place with an annual street party, a Eurovision gathering, a pre-Christmas get together with mulled wine & mince pies, and a New Year's Eve party to name but a few
o The Crescent is set away from the busy areas of Southborough so is very quiet and with the house backing onto Brokes Wood, we get to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the local wildlife
