We’ve absolutely loved living in this calm and peaceful home. It’s been the heart of so many joyful gatherings—from intimate dinners to some truly memorable parties, including our very own garden wedding. The top floor being self-contained has been such a bonus—we’ve comfortably hosted up to four couples at once, with one couple in the garden room, and still enjoyed our own private space. One of our favourite features is the champagne fridge—it always adds a touch of fun to hosting! The open plan area is perfect for entertaining, and we adore having multiple sitting rooms. The snug has a clever rotating TV that lets us sit out in the garden and watch cricket on sunny days, while the front sitting room has become our cozy ‘after supper’ retreat. In winter, we curl up by the fire and enjoy our 72-inch TV—it’s a real treat. The snug and dining area open out to the south-facing garden, which is truly a sun trap.
