Description

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Being on the first floor of this impressive Georgian Country House, Flat One benefits from the high ceilings and sash windows that add to the sense of light and space throughout this impressive apartment - and, being offered with No Upward Chain, this lovely apartment could soon be your new home!

The apartment's main door opens to the Hallway where you get the first taste of the high ceilings with feature coving, original doors and the oak floors that you'll find throughout the property. There's a large, built-in storage cupboard and to your left double doors open into the expansive Dining Kitchen which has it's original fireplace with a multi-fuel stove and a 'Sheila Maid' laundry rack above. There's a good range of Shaker-style kitchen units, two sinks, a Range Master electric oven with extractor fan over, space for a tall American-style fridge freezer and your washing machine.

Off the Dining Kitchen is the impressive Sitting Room which has light flooding in through a wonderful bay window overlooking the communal parkland garden. The Inner Hall has a door out to the central grand Hall, and then leads to the very spacious Principal Bedroom which has a Juliet balcony overlooking the gardens and a stylish En Suite with walk-in shower.

Returning to the main Hall and there are two further Bedrooms - both with sash windows and Bedroom Two has a mezzanine that is currently used as a Home Office but is large enough for a double bed.

The property also benefits from a Cellar and a Garden Store which are both accessed externally, and give you considerable additional storage space. This impresive house sits within 8 acres of gardens and woodlands, and you have a private Garden space accessed via a path to the rear of the house. In Spring and Summer, much of the land is wilded for wildife, insects and butterflies, and then the private garden area has a greenhouse, fire pit, raised flower, herb and vegetable beds and an abundance of roses and mature trees and shrubs.

The property has two allocated Parking spaces - one near the side steps to the entrance and one closer to the driveway - plus additional guest spaces and the long driveway has superb views over local farmland and the countryside beyond.

This impressive apartment really does need to be viewed to appreciate the space and potential it offers - so please call the team at our Market Drayton office to arrange your viewing.
