"We have lived at Fulwood House for the past 25 years and have loved every minute of our time here. The only reason for our move is that we are downsizing due to retirement. We love Fulwood House for its location – right in the heart of Spencers Wood village – while still offering complete privacy, set within its own enclosed plot and positioned behind a double-gated entrance. The house itself, built by David Wilson in the late 1990s, is bright, spacious, and incredibly welcoming. It’s flooded with natural light throughout the day and evening, and includes features that are often missing in more modern homes – such as a large kitchen-diner, separate dining room, and a utility room. Over the years, many family members and friends have stayed with us and commented on the generous space and warm feel of our home. The garden is a fantastic size, perfect for family life and entertaining, and has been the setting for countless parties and celebrations. We’ve been lucky to have wonderful neighbours – friendly, supportive, and always happy to help when needed. The location is ideal, with excellent access to the M4, just 5 miles from Reading, 40 miles to London, and within an hour’s drive to Bristol and Southampton. Even Birmingham is reachable within 90 minutes. We can only hope that the new owners will love Fulwood House as much as we have, and that it brings them just as much happiness and joy as it has brought us over the years."
