Steps lead down to a level area of lawn with a circular patio, raised beds and a garden shed with electrics which also extend down the garden to power points and a sensor light. Further steps lead to an area of garden with a plum tree in the centre and this slopes gently down to another area which goes into the woodland. The house is set quite far back from the road with parking for four cars and a large area of lawn.

Springwood Road runs parallel to the High Street and backs onto a large woodland which then leads to the Cuckoo Trail and connects to a lot of countryside walks. The road gently slopes down, joining Streatfield Road and into the High Street. Cross in Hand Primary school is within easy walking distance and Heathfield Community College does have a bus running to it but a lot of the children walk. Heathfield has a very good range of local shops, restaurants, take aways and cafes. There is a central church and others on the outskirts. There is a local pub in the town and also two in Old Heathfield. There is a Sainsbury's, Waitrose, and Co-op supermarket. On the edge of town is a petrol station, tennis club, gym and pool. The buses run regular services to Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne, Etchingham Station, Brighton, Lewes and Uckfield. The closest main line stations are at Stonegate (7 miles) Crowborough (8.6 miles) and Buxted 6.6 miles.

Directions: On the High Street is a freestanding clock. Turn up the road by this into Streatfield Road. Go to the end and bear right, continuing up the road. Just after Cherwell Road the property will be found on the left.
