LOCATION

Located on the south side of Chelmsford, Galleywood is very popular with families due to the easy access to primary and secondary schooling, local shops, the A12, and is surrounded by open spaces and fields which gives you the option for long walks on the weekend or to wind down in the evenings.

OVERVIEW OF ACCOMMODATION

The spacious Entrance Hall has a useful storage cupboard and stairs rising to the front floor. The door to the downstairs toilet is to your left, to the right is the front facing Lounge (with bay window providing a lot of natural light), whilst a large squared arch in front of you opens up into the Dining Room.

The Dining Room has been extended by taking some of the Garage and is now a large, bright space which is perfect for hosting large family gatherings. If you decide to really have a party then doors open up into both the Conservatory (which can host a number of people in its own right) and the Kitchen, meaning that the ground floor accommodation can really flow. The Kitchen itself has windows overlooking the garden and is fitted with a modern range of matching wall and base units, with worktops over and spaces for appliances. The matching units have also been used in the Utility Room, which has it's own sink and door out to the side, ideal for bringing muddy paws in after a long dog walk.

On the first floor you won't find a box room, but have three 'proper' double bedrooms and a small double or good sized single room. Bedroom One with it's En-Suite faces rear, as does Bedroom Four, whilst Bedrooms Two and Three face front. The Family Bathroom also face front and is fitted with a white three piece suite with shower over the bath.

Outside, the Rear Garden is well landscaped over two levels. In reality it is more of an adult garden than a small child's garden, with patio area ideal for summer bbq's and steps up to a summerhouse (with its own decked seating area) which could make a great work from home space, playroom for a younger child, or den for older children. If you do have children that want to run around with a football then it's no issue as there is an open park space literally next to the house but well shielded by brick wall and bushes.

Parking for two cars is available to the front of the house. The front part of the garage can still be used for storage and is accessed via an up and over door. 

All in all we think that this would be a great family home, particularly for those with older children.
