    My area is very good place to live, transportation is top notch, restaurants and local shops are easy to reach and there’s no much traffic noise. I’ve got wonderful neighbors as well. In short, it’s a good and peaceful environment

    I wish we knew the internet that comes with the house to prepare myself before moving in

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Living in my local area has its ups and downs. The local shops along Armstrong Road unfortunately let down the overall appearance of the area, lacking in both variety and quality. However, parking is quite convenient, and the street itself is very quiet, which is a plus. My neighbours are friendly, contributing to a pleasant community atmosphere. On the downside, bin collection, especially on recycling days, has been hit and miss. The bin men haven't been very accommodating in taking away our extra cardboard, likely due to many of us moving in recently. Despite these minor issues, I am very happy here, and overall, it's a great place to live.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    I had to contact building management once about the outside tap not working. They responded quickly and provided clear instructions on what to do. The site manager was very helpful and even came to show me where the valve was to turn the water on, resolving the issue efficiently.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the location of all the utility shut-off valves. Not just the stop cock under the sink. While the site manager was helpful in showing me where the water valve was, having that information upfront would have been beneficial. Additionally, I recommend checking the availability of nearby amenities, like grocery stores and public transport options, as they can significantly enhance your living experience. Overall, getting to know the neighbourhood and its conveniences can make settling in much easier for new neighbours.

    We moved to this property on 1st of July. The overall experience is quite good. The house design and facilities are great. Access to public transport is just at 2 min walk.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    We just moved in 3 weeks ago and havn't raised any request yet, so not able to answer this.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Some of the houses are still under construction because of which we face noise issue all day.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Good transport links, close to city centre. Lacks local shop, nowhere you can just nip to by foot. Street remains closed at one end because of building work currently so street is residents only. No real traffic disturbance.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    We are still awaiting repairs to be done that we raised when we moved in. Nothing urgent but would expect this to have happened by now.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    We wish we had have known how poor the grass was and quite how much time, effort and money we have had to put in to get it to an okay state. We also had unnecessary anxiety over what the neighbours would be like but everyone has been genuinely lovely so we needent have worried!

    Moved here few weeks ago and everything is perfect. And Dave was really helpful helping me settle in

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    The building management responded quickly when I reported an issue with the toilet not flushing properly. They arranged for maintenance to come the same day, and the problem was resolved efficiently. I’ve found them to be helpful and responsive overall.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that there aren’t any grocery stores within easy walking distance. It’s something that doesn’t really come up during a viewing but becomes noticeable once you settle in. That said, if you have a car, it’s not a major issue there are several good options like Asda, Lidl just a short drive away.
