This cottage is in beautiful quiet countryside just a mile and a half from the coast. From the farm there is a lovely quiet walk down the wooded valley to the beautiful fishing village of Polperro. Looe is just 3 miles away and Fowey is 6 miles. The nearest village is Pelynt which has two pubs and two shops and is just over a mile away. You will get the use of communal gardens, large exercise field and a children's playground.  There is also parking for two cars. There is potentially storage available in our barns next door if required.

Twinkles is a charming and spacious ‘upside down’, beamed cottage, with great views across the farm and surrounding countryside. The cottage was named after Twinkle the cow, who had all of her calves in one of the downstairs rooms (before it was converted from a barn to a cottage !), while the upstairs was used to store hay in the winter. You can still see many of the original features of the barn, like the exposed stone walls and the double upstairs doors that were used to load the hay too and from the horse-drawn wagons that pulled up underneath.

From the downstairs entrance hall there is a double bedroom which has a king size bed and en suite shower room/W.C. Off the hall is also a very large twin bedded room. This bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom/W.C, with bath and shower above.

The whole of the top floor is a very spacious and bright open plan lounge/dining room with a kitchen area (with dishwasher, microwave , hob, oven, fridge and freezer), vaulted, beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove. The lounge is carpeted and has a brown leather three piece suite along with a 40” LCD digital Smart TV. The cottage also has its own Wi-Fi and a smart TV.

From the upstairs lounge there are delightful views from the large windows of the front fields and of Pelynt Village in the background. From the front there is also a great view of the courtyard. There is a sitting area at the front of the cottage in the south facing courtyard.

The property is fully furnished, including crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and bedding.  You just need to bring sheets and towels !
