Description
133 East Gomeldon Road presents a rare opportunity to purchase a 3 bedroom detached bungalow of just under 1,000 square feet with over 5 acres of grazing land ideal for equine usage but equally suitable for a buyer in need of space and tranquility.
The property itself comprises an entrance hall accessed from the right side of the property which leads to the sitting/dining room; a good size ‘L’ shape room with ample room for sofas and space for a dining table. The well presented kitchen has a good selection of storage and space for various white goods. There are 3 double bedrooms, two of which have built in wardrobes, and a family bathroom. Externally there is a good size front garden with a drive proving off-road parking in front of a single garage. The rear garden is again a good size and provides lovely views over the grazing land as well as access. Due to the land available there is ample opportunity to extend or improve the property (subject to necessary consents).
Equestrian facilities
The land can be accessed via a private track from East Gomeldon Road, just 30 meters from the main drive for the bungalow. The track leads first to an oversized arena with post and rail fencing and a sand surface which measures approx. 45m x 25m. Adjacent there is a triple bay stable block with large feed store/tack room and mains water.
The land is positioned to the North and East of the stables is excellent free draining, gently sloping chalk land which has been divided into six paddocks with a side walkway leading to further open grazing area. This providing excellent all year round turnout.
There is no forward chain, an internal inspection and walk over the land is highly recommended.
East Gomeldon Road is situated in the village of East Gomeldon just a short distance north east of the Cathedral City of Salisbury. There is a local play park and field within a short walk. The nearby villages of Porton and Winterbourne provide local amenities including shops, a doctors, Post Office, public houses and primary schools. Gomeldon also has its own primary school.
