The area around QRP Station has its own established little scene now - we like Peckham Cellars, Beer Rebellion, Blackbird Bakery, and Well & Fed. All are within five minutes of your door! Walk a little further for The Meeting House (cafe through to wine bar) and Naifs (family-run Michelin- recommended vegan restaurant).

Walk 12 minutes to Rye Lane, 13 to Peckham Rye Station, and 15 to Bellenden Road. Rye Lane is home to hip rooftop bars, a cinema (with £5.99 films), regular pop-ups and handy high street shops.

Bellenden Road has lovely restaurants such as Artusi, Ganapati and The Begging Bowl. Blenheim Grove has good spots as well.

For more options, New Cross (don't miss contemporary art gallery Goodsmiths CCA here), Nunhead, East Dulwich and Deptford are all close.

There is a community garden at the end of the street. And local parks include Brimmington, Telegraph Hill, Peckham Rye, Burgess and Southwark. Or jump on the bus for Greenwich Park plus attractions, and The Thames of course.

Kids? Local popular ones include Edmund Waller (3-11) and Haberdashers' (3-18).
