Laurie Tew, Director

Laurie began his career in estate agency almost two decades ago working for one of the UK's largest corporate estate agents. He has since then successfully worked his way up through the ranks, having worked for many well-known industry leaders, and has successfully sold hundreds of homes all the way across Essex, Suffolk, and even briefly Wales. Laurie is now exactly where he wants to be - owner and director of one of Essex's leading independent agents, Hamilton Piers. Throughout the week you will often catch Laurie with a smile on his face at any of our local property showrooms getting 'stuck in', with exactly the same love he acquired all those years ago for selling houses!

Sacha Tew, Branch Partner

Sacha's first taste of estate agency was almost 15 years ago when her brother Laurie found her a work experience placement at the corporate company he was working for at the time. Despite going on to college and training/qualifying as a Chef, Sacha spent much of her late teens and early twenties hearing all about how great it was to be an estate agent from her brother. Seven years ago Sacha decided to take a 'leap of faith' and never looked back! She has since worked up the ranks from Office Junior at our Notley/Braintree office, throughout the company in more senior positions, and then back to manage the very branch where it all started.

Tony Pepper, Senior Branch Valuer

Tony has been in estate agency for over 15 years and has worked throughout Essex in sales, lettings and new homes. Tony is a senior valuer for Hamilton Piers and very much enjoys often being the first face people see when visiting people's homes to provide them with the very initial valuation, and then steering the process all the way through to the day the same client drops their keys to him ready for the property's new owner to collect. Tony is also a qualified associate member of The Guild of Property Professionals and is, rarely for our industry, Trading Standards Accredited.

Fay Crowther, Property Consultant

There are two things we can say for sure that Fay loves - talking and selling houses. And seriously, anyone can tell you she really loves a good chat! Fortunately for us in estate agency talking is the key ingredient to building a rapport with your client, and through wanting to talk and get to know her clients Fay is able to often find properties and match them to her clients exact needs. For this reason we always encourage Fay to keep talking (safe in the knowledge that we have upgraded to cordless phones, so if it gets too much we can take our calls in a another room!). Martyn Walker, Branch Manager

Following university Martyn soon after qualified as a chef and worked at many fine dining establishments locally and afar. Having moved back to Essex Martyn's passion for food was still there but he decided a new career path was to be. Martyn started his career in estate agency at Hamilton Piers and successfully worked through the ranks to become Branch Manager of our Hatfield Peverel office and is now the senior valuer for the village itself, Maldon, Witham, Kelvedon, and all surrounding areas. Martyn is also a qualified associate member of The Guild of Property Professionals and is, rarely for our industry, Trading Standards Accredited.

Everyone who meets Tom knows he was born to be a people's person. If you ever wanted a sure bet on who will have a smile on their face at any point in the working week then put your money on Tom.
